The deformation of ultra-thin coil metal in the stamping process is a production problem that is relatively easy to encounter in daily production, so how to solve this production problem?

Check the mold clearance: Make sure the mold clearance is correct, too large or too small will cause deformation.

Check the thickness of the material: The thickness of the material should meet the requirements of the mold, too thin or too thick will lead to deformation.

Check the hardness of the material: If the hardness of the material is too low, it will be easy to deform, make sure that the material has enough hardness.

Check the stamping speed: Pressing too fast will increase the risk of distortion, adjust to the appropriate speed.

Check the punch shape: An inappropriate punch shape will cause the material to be unevenly stressed, resulting in deformation.

Check the pressure pad: Improper action of the pressure pad will cause local deformation of the material, check whether the pressure pad fits well with the mold.

Use support blocks: When stamping large or complex shapes of thin materials, the use of support blocks can prevent the material from deforming.

Perform local heat treatment: Applying local heat treatment to the stamping area can increase the hardness and stiffness of the material, thereby reducing deformation.

Adopt advanced stamping technology: such as servo stamping, slow stamping and other technologies can better control the stamping process and reduce deformation.

Finally, add a high-precision leveler or leveler to the front or back end of the stamping process to relieve stress, so that the flatness of the stamped product will be higher and the effect will be better!
